Multi-Point Check

Every approved used car is inspected by a skilled smart trained technician and thoroughly road tested before going on sale.

Investigation

Independent companies verify:

• there are no outstanding finance charges
• the car isn't registered as a stolen vehicle or an insurance write-off
• the chassis and registration numbers are the same as those recorded by the DVLA
• an independent check on the vehicle's mileage record is carried out, you will receive a certificate to confirm this*

*Not applicable for those one owner cars where the first owner is either DaimlerChrysler UK Limited or the selling Retailer

Servicing

All approved used cars will not require routine servicing at the customers expense for a minimum of 1,500 miles or 3 months from the date of sale (whichever comes sooner).

Warranty

smart used vehicles, regardless of age, will benefit from our comprehensive 12 months unlimited mileage warranty, provided the vehicle has covered less than 100,000 miles at the date of purchase.

This warranty will either be the balance of the original warranty that covered the car from its first registration, a stand alone used car warranty or a combination of the two.

With unlimited mileage cover and no individual claim limits, this is one of the most comprehensive used car warranties available.

Roadside Assistance

smart approved used cars are covered for a minimum of 12 months roadside assistance that ensures you are back on the road with the minimum of inconvenience 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

MOT Test Failure

Every smart approved used car comes with MOT Test Failure Cover. This benefit covers the owner against the cost of repairing, replacing or altering covered parts (up to the purchase price of your smart) that are cited as being the reason for the failure of the MOT Test on the VT30 Certificate.

Exchange Plan

Should you not be satisfied with your approved used smart for any reason, you are entitled to exchange it at any time within the first 30 days or 500 miles of ownership (whichever comes sooner). Terms & condition apply.
